How does One Million Africa work?

Companies or approved sponsors launch verified impact campaigns. Individuals, employees, partners and communities can voluntarily support those campaigns. Funds are tracked and released to verified beneficiaries or approved vendors under documented controls.

Does my contribution give me a chance to win money?

No. A contribution supports the selected campaign only. It does not create a drawing entry, prize, financial return or ownership interest.

Can I choose which campaign I support?

Yes. Where multiple campaigns are available, choose the campaign you want to support and review its purpose, funding goal, dates, intended use of funds and applicable terms before contributing.

Can I get a refund?

Refund eligibility is governed by the published Refund Policy and the terms of the specific campaign.

Can I keep my public profile private?

Where supported, contributors may use available privacy/display settings. One Million Africa may still need to process identity, payment and fraud-prevention information privately when required to operate the service or comply with applicable requirements.
